Our latest Art Desk installment pays a digital visit to the EMP Museum in Seattle, Washington. Established by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, it showcases exhibits ranging from Fantasy: Worlds of Myth and Magic to Nirvana: Taking Punk to the Masses and Indie Game Revolution.
The museum’s curators invited Christopher to participate in sharing his private collection of Inheritance Cycle items. He has since loaned over a dozen pieces, some of which you can see below, including manuscript pages, illustrations, and sketches spanning the past fifteen years. His spiral notebook offers readers a glimpse into solving plot and worldbuilding conundrums. Manuscript pages and a workstation blot board highlight both the writing and editing process, as well as the many doodles that fuel the wheels of his imagination.
