I am extremely excited to announce my new book, To Sleep in a Sea of Stars, which is going to be published by the awesome folks at Tor Books on September 15th, 2020.
To Sleep in a Sea of Stars is a massive science-fiction space opera, full of spaceships, lasers, aliens, explosions, and of course. . . tentacles. More seriously, I really wanted to capture the sense of wonder I feel when looking up at the stars at night—as well as the sense of optimism I feel when imagining humanity’s future as we expand into space. I’ve spent over seven years working on this book—figuring out the science, the characters, and most importantly, the story—and I can’t wait for you to read it.
